Face Lift & Neck Lift
(Deep Plane, General Anesthesia)
Age Gracefully. Lift Beautifully.
A combined face lift and neck lift using the deep plane technique is an advanced surgical procedure designed to restore a more youthful, refreshed appearance by addressing sagging skin, deep facial folds, and loss of definition in both the face and neck. By lifting and repositioning the deeper facial structures rather than relying on skin tightening alone, this approach delivers natural-looking, long-lasting results while preserving facial expression and harmony.
Treating the face and neck together allows for balanced rejuvenation, improving the midface, jawline, and neck contours in a single procedure.
What to Expect
The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and typically takes several hours, depending on the extent of correction required. Incisions are carefully placed around the ears and within natural skin creases to minimize visible scarring. Using the deep plane technique, the surgeon releases and repositions the underlying facial and neck tissues as a single unit, allowing the skin to redrape naturally without excessive tension.
Swelling and bruising are expected after surgery and usually improve significantly within two to three weeks. Most patients are able to return to light daily activities after two to three weeks, with continued refinement of results over several months as healing progresses.
Hypersensitivity and altered sensations are very common, expected, and usually temporary side effects of a full face lift and neck lift. These changes occur as sensory nerves regenerate after being stretched or divided during surgery. Temporary numbness is most commonly experienced around the ears, in front of the ears, and behind the chin, and may last for several months before gradually resolving.
