  • Do not flex your facial muscles within the first 24 hours
  • Stay out of the sun and avoid exercise or other activities that will make you sweat.

Possible side effect after Dermal Fillers

  • Redness, swelling and bruising. Compress with ice pack. Take Arnica, either as topical cream or in tablet form.
  • Infection in the injected area. This is a rare side effect and should be taken seriously. Please contact your treating doctor for advice. Our experience shows that patients who seek advise in places where they do not know about fillers are less successful than patients who seek advice from a doctor who has better understanding of their treatment.
  • Allergic reaction, such as severe swelling, itching and redness within 24 hours. Please contact your treating doctor.
  • Lumpiness at the filler site. Some filler might cause a temporary lumpiness at the injected area. Contact the treating doctor to ensure best result for this. During the first 2 weeks filler can be massaged to avoid lumps.

Repeat treatment and maintenance

No repeat treatments are necessary. If you are not happy with the result after 10-14 days, please come back to the clinic for a consultation with your doctor.

To maintain the effect of the filler you will need new injection every 7 – 14 months.

You can combine your filler treatment with a Light Filler Redensity treatment for even better results.
